Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 26, 2026 · Last updated: July 26, 2026
This policy describes how Bijon: Vision Board handles your information. The short version: your visions live on your device, the camera is only ever a live mirror, and nothing from the camera is photographed, recorded, transcribed, analyzed, uploaded, or saved.
1. Introduction
Bijon: Vision Board (“Bijon,” “the app,” “we,” or “us”) is a private vision-board app for iPhone operated by the developer of Bijon. This Privacy Policy explains what information Bijon stores, how the app uses your device’s camera, photos, notifications, and Face ID, and how subscriptions are handled.
Bijon is designed as a private, personal experience. The app does not require an account, and it does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or behavioral analytics.
2. Information stored in Bijon
The content you create in Bijon is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData storage. This may include:
- Vision titles, statements, reasons, and categories
- Target dates and starting progress
- Photos you select and built-in background selections
- Progress descriptions and progress percentages
- Morning statements and reflection questions
- Alarm settings and app preferences
- Reflection completion history
- Subscription entitlement state
Data stored locally by the app: all of the content listed above lives on your device. Data processed by Apple: subscription purchases, introductory-offer eligibility, and (if you use them) device backups are processed by Apple under Apple’s own terms. Third-party services: Bijon does not send your vision content to third-party services.
3. Camera and Morning Reflection
Morning Reflection uses your device’s front camera only as a live mirror while you speak your vision or progress statement. During this experience:
- Bijon does not photograph you
- Bijon does not record video
- Bijon does not record audio
- Bijon does not recognize or transcribe speech
- Bijon does not detect or analyze faces
- Bijon does not detect emotions
- Bijon does not upload camera frames
- Bijon does not save any camera content
The camera preview exists only on screen, in the moment, for you.
4. Photos
You can add images to your visions from your photo library. Photo access happens only when you initiate photo selection, using Apple’s photo-selection interface, and Bijon receives only the images you intentionally choose.
Selected images are stored locally with your vision data. You can remove an image or delete a vision at any time from within the app. If you use Apple device backups (such as iCloud backup), whether app data is included in a backup is controlled by your Apple and device settings, not by Bijon.
5. Notifications
Morning alarms and reminders are optional local notifications. Permission is requested through iOS, and you can change or revoke it at any time in iOS Settings. Notification preferences can also be adjusted inside the app.
Morning reminder content may appear on your lock screen. If lock screen privacy matters to you, avoid putting sensitive wording in notification text, or adjust notification previews in iOS Settings.
6. Face ID
You can optionally protect Bijon with Face ID. Biometric authentication is performed entirely by Apple through iOS. Bijon never receives or stores your biometric data or templates — the app receives only the authentication result (success or failure) needed to unlock the app.
7. Subscriptions and purchases
Bijon subscriptions are purchased and processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Bijon receives the transaction and entitlement information needed to determine whether premium access is active. Bijon does not receive your full payment-card details.
Apple’s own privacy terms govern Apple’s processing of purchase information.
8. Analytics, tracking, and advertising
Bijon does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or behavioral analytics SDKs. The app does not build advertising profiles and does not sell personal information.
9. Data sharing
Bijon does not share your vision content with third parties. The only external processing involved in using Bijon is performed by Apple as the platform provider — for example, App Store purchases, notification delivery by iOS, biometric authentication, and any device backups you have enabled. Apple’s platform processing is governed by Apple’s terms and happens on Apple’s side; it does not mean the developer receives that data.
10. Data retention and deletion
Your content stays in the app until you remove it. You can delete an individual vision — which removes its related progress entries and selected images from the app — or delete any progress entry separately.
Uninstalling Bijon removes the app’s local data from your device. If you use Apple device backups, copies of app data may persist in those backups according to your Apple settings until the backup is replaced or deleted.

11. Children’s privacy
Bijon is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Bijon does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used Bijon in a way that raises a privacy concern, contact us so we can help.
12. International users
Because your Bijon content is stored locally on your device, using the app does not by itself transfer your vision data internationally. Apple’s processing of purchases, notifications, and backups is subject to Apple’s own terms and infrastructure. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the policy text and its effective date on this page. Continued use of Bijon after a change means the updated policy applies.
